Ann Clark, RN, will be presenting a poster “Nurse Satisfaction with the “Telemetry Monitoring Process” at the 2009 VNA Education Day in Richmond, VA in October.

Mary Marshman, RN, will be presenting a poster “Creating a Customized Patient-Centered Stroke Education Plan” at the 2009 VNA Education Day.

Cheryl Burnette, RN, M.Ed., CPLP, presented two posters at the 2009 Nurse Management Congress, “Implementing a Creative Sleep Program for new Nurse Graduates” (This poster was the 2009 Planning Committee Poster Winner) & “New Nurse Graduates in the Drivers Seat of the Professional Practice Highway.”

Johanna Derrenbacker, RN, MSN, presented a poster at the 2009 Nurse Management Congress, “Flying High Now.  ”Kelly Brown, RN, MSN, MHA, CPAN & Kathy Fifer, RN, presented a poster at the 2009 Nurse Management Congress, “Nine years and counting:  innovative ways to sustain closed staffing.”

Tiffany Clark, RN, submitted an abstract to the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing regarding the new orientation framework that was implemented on the Oncology inpatient unit, and it was accepted.  The article will be printed in November.
