| Medical Student Clerkships |
Inpatient |
| The clerkship begins with orientation and rounds with the FP inpatient team.
Students will receive patients for admission and treatment under the supervision of the senior resident and family medicine attending faculty on service.
Daily teaching rounds will be made with the rounding team
The student will attend scheduled didactic curricular offerings (3-4 hours/wk).
Community service to the Lynchburg Free Medical Clinic once every 2 weeks.
Student will take 4 calls with a senior family practice resident on AC (acute care).
In-patient clerkships are 2 to 4 weeks in length. |
