Highlights
- On July 1, the residency turned 30! Before this landmark anniversary, we had to say goodbye to its founder, Dr. Don Shotton, who died in the spring after a long illness. His legacy is without a doubt an important one to all of us who are – or have been- associated with the residency since its inception.
- From its humble 1975 beginning the residency has maintain a steadfast path. From a 2 year program x 4 residents it has gained in reputation and size. We project incremental growth with a 5-5-5 slate for 2006-07.
- Moving towards the widespread utilization of electronic medical records, and after thoughtful examination of the options, the residency decided to start with electronic prenatal EHRs: e-Natal. We are still a long way from the dream of a paperless practice… (continue)
