Gregory Alba, D.O, and Julie Thompson, NP., have joined Piedmont PrimeCare in Danville. Piedmont PrimeCare is a family practice and walk-in clinic that provides continuing care medicine, preventative care and occupational health services. Patients may schedule physicals and check-ups, follow up visits, on-site X-rays, lab services and non-emergency consultations.

Dr. Alba is board certified in family medicine and has comprehensive education, experience and expertise in family medicine and urgent care. Graduating with top honors, he received his osteopathic degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology.  His family medicine residency was completed at the University Hospital in New York.

Julie Thompson received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina, and received her masters of nursing degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She also brings to Piedmont PrimeCare comprehensive experience in family medicine.

Dr. Alba and Thompson, join a dedicated team of certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, technicians and administrative staff. Piedmont PrimeCare serves patients from two convenient Danville locations: The Main Clinic at 130 Enterprise Drive and the East Clinic at 404 Airport Drive in Danville.
