Vol. 18 No. 1 March 2004

Dear Reader,

This issue of News Digest focuses on Pathways Treatment Center—its evolution, its programs and one of its marvelous stories of recovery.

Throughout the years, Pathways has adjusted to the changing

reimbursement environment. We continue to provide excellent care as we introduce our new 12 steps for Pathways.

Pathways for Women is one example of how we have met the needs of the community since 1984. Thanks to our gender-specific programs, we have helped both men and women recover from chemical dependency. Please read the story of one woman's remarkable journey to recovery.

Pathways also remains on the forefront when helping patients with the latest detox medications. Read about Buprenorphine, which has provided a safer, shorter detox for nearly a dozen patients during the past six months.

To your health,
