Who will file my insurance?
Centra Health will file up to two insurance policies on your behalf.

How will I be notified if there is a problem with my insurance making payment to the hospital?
You will receive monthly statements advising you of your account status. When there is a delay or problem with payment from the insurance company, we recommend you contact your insurance company.

Why do I have a different account number for each time I become a patient at Lynchburg General Hospital or Virginia Baptist Hospital?
For billing, accounting, and regulatory purposes, each date of service and type of admission is handled separately.

What can I do if I'm unable to pay the balance after my insurance pays or denies?
A customer service representative can assist you in making a reasonable payment plan. In cases in which you have no means to pay the account balance, a customer service representative will assist you in completing financial assistance applications.
