Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Specialists in Danville
Centra Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Specialists, located at 404 Airport Drive, provides you with direct access to an orthopaedist and a physiatrist. An experienced on-site physical therapist provides treatment in the areas of orthopaedics, post surgical rehabilitation, vestibular/balance disorders, sports injury and work injury. Treatment is provided to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit physical disabilties.

Our Physical Therapist
Shannon Jones, MSPT, CEAS
Shannon is the site coordinator of our Danville outpatient therapy office. She received a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Science and Master of Science degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. She has practiced in an outpatient physical therapy setting since 1994 and is a certified ergonomic assessment specialist. Additionally, she specializes in work injury prevention and oncology rehab. She has completed continuing education training in foot and ankle biomechanics, orthotic fabrication, myofascial release, shoulder biomechanics and pathology, lumbosacral mobilizations, sacroiliac dysfunction, advanced balance training & assessment and advanced oncology rehabilitation.
Our Office Manager
Kim Burnette, CMOM
Kim has been with Centra since 1998. She was the recipient of the Centra MSO Office Manager of the Year award in 2006. She is furthering her education at Danville Community College and Averett University. She received the accreditation of Certified Office Manager from the Practice Management Institute and looks forward to welcoming you to the office and assisting you with any questions you may have.
Our Rehabilitation Assistant
Joy Mills
Joy has been a Rehab Assistance since 1996 and has been a part of the Centra team since 2009. She assists in work conditioning and coordinates pre-work screenings. She obtains insurance referrals and counsels new patients. She looks forward to helping you and making your experience in the clinic a positive one.
