The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine provides wound care that will include wound assessment and treatment as well as the option of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The Center's staff is trained to provide a specialized, comprehensive course of therapy to assist in healing your problem wound. During your course of treatment at the Center, you will remain under the care of your regular physician and we will coordinate to assure complete continuity of all your medical services.

There are many different kinds of wounds including diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic wounds, and ulcers caused by circulation problems. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to heal these wounds. At the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, we follow treatment protocols specifically established for each type of wound. We utilize the most up to date approaches to wound healing and remain current in new scientific advances in wound care.

Your Wound Treatment Program
Upon referral to the Center, you will undergo a thorough diagnostic examination to identify the type of wound you have and the underlying problems causing the wound. After this determination, a program specifically tailored to your needs will be initiated based on the most effective treatment options. A multi-specialty approach will be utilized to provide the maximum benefit to your wound. There are multiple diagnostic and treatment modalities that may be utilized by our professional staff.
