For Immediate Release: Important Patient Portal Information 

We have exciting news! We are partnering with Cerner, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) company, and will be transitioning to a new (EMR) system beginning September 1, 2018

Along with this new EMR comes a newly enhanced, user-friendly patient portal. HealthyU, as our patient portal has always been called, will upgrade to a new platform with improved functionality. This optimized portal will allow patients to stay connected with their healthcare team and access their personal medical information online anytime.

The patient portal can be used to: 

  • View visit summaries and lab, radiology and pathology results from past and current visits
  • Request medication refills
  • Request and change appointments
  • Send messages to your care team*
  • Access educational information about upcoming procedures
  • Connect to a site where you can pay your bill

It is important to note that if  patients already have a HealthyU portal account, they will need to create a new account with our new system. Users can do this by requesting an invitation from their provider when they check in for an office or hospital visit or by self-enrolling from the Centra website. An email address will be required to create an account. It is important that patients verify their personal information, including their e-mail address, when they visit their provider or the hospital. Inaccurate information can delay access to records.

To self-enroll for the HealthyU patient portal, follow these one-time registration instructions:

  • Go to centrahealth.com
  • Scroll down to the HealthyU logo
  • Click on “Register” button
  • Enter the information requested including your first name, last name, and date of birth. Click on the “Email address” tab and enter your email address.
  • Check the “I’m not a robot” box in Identity verification and follow prompts.
  • Click on “Next”
  • If the information you have provided matches the information on file, you will receive a verification code in your email.
  • Enter the verification code from your email. During this step, please keep all tabs and browser windows open.
  • Confirm your identity and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • Access your Centra Health Personal Health Record by creating or logging into you Cerner Health Account.

You are now registered and can access HealthyU from the “Login” button on the Centra website any time, 24/7, by following these instructions:

  • Go to centrahealth.com
  • Scroll down to the HealthyU logo
  • Click on the “Login” button
  • Enter your user name and password associated with your HealthyU account and click “Sign In”.

**Please note: if you have received a disqualification statement after attempting to self-enroll:

You received this message because some of the information you provided does not currently match what Centra and its affiliated practices have on file for you. In an effort to maintain the security of your personal information, and make sure no one is trying to access your account that shouldn't be, you will need to personally verify your details before continuing.  Please update your personal information at your next visit to the hospital or any Centra Medical Group practice after September 1, 2018.

You can continue to access your old records by clicking on the “Click to access previous data” link below the HealthyU logo on the centrahealth.com website.  This will allow you to log in to the old platform. You will not be able to message with your provider(s) until you have access to the new HealthyU so please contact the practice directly by phone if you need assistance. If you have additional questions you may also contact HealthyU support at CentraHealthyU@centrahealth.com.  Please allow up to 3 business days to receive a response.
