Nurse Aide Education Program

Nurse aides work under a nurse's supervision helping patients with daily care and tasks. Since they have extensive contact with each patient, nurse aides play a key role in the lives of their patients and in keeping the nurse informed of vital information about the patients' conditions.

In just six weeks, Centra's Nurse Aide Education Program will prepare you to take your National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) State Certification Examination. Upon successful completion of this examination, the nurse aide will become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Our classroom and lab provide an outstanding learning environment to help propel you towards your new career. The program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
