Rivermont Schools - Special Education

Rivermont Schools provides a therapeutic educational program for students, ages 5-22, with special needs, including autism who have difficulty learning in a traditional school setting.  Rivermont's Mission is to help students learn to manage their behaviors so they can return to their home schools, graduate and become productive citizens.

Classes are small, usually eight to 10 students, and are taught by special education instructors and counselors. Together, these professionals help students reach acceptable standards of behavior and academic levels in the typical school environment. Teachers coordinate the course of study with the student's public school to ensure a smooth transition when the student is ready to return to that setting.  Our skilled and experienced team teaches students to relay upon their personal strengths in order to solve problems, make better choices and achieve both short and long term success.

Rivermont Schools has immediate openings for special education teachers at several locations and is currently offering a two-thousand-dollar sign-on bonus and up to five thousand dollars in relocation expenses.
