Support an event and support your community!  As a nonprofit healthcare system, Centra never turns families or patients away even if they are unable to pay for their care.  Along with helping the needs of patients and their families, supporting Foundation Events also provides Centra with funding for essential equipment and services.

M.A.A.M. (Mammograms Annually A Must) is a committee of the Centra Foundation with a mission to raise awareness of the importance of screening mammograms. M.A.A.M. members have been touched by breast cancer and want to make a difference in the health of the region. The M.A.A.M. group increases awareness and promotes screening mammography by ensuring access to mammograms and increasing awareness about the importance of annual mammograms. M.A.A.M. helps to fund and organize free mammography screening days for the community and supports media campaigns to build awareness about mammography.
