received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Medical College of Virginia

She is passionate about helping others with their recovery from injuries.  She has many advanced manual skills and is specifically known for her specialty in treatment of the spine including, the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacroiliac regions.

Heather has been practicing as a Physical Therapist in the Lynchburg area for 10 years.  She was voted by the southwest Virginia community first place for the best bedside manner award in Our Health Magazine in 2011, again in 2012, and was an honorable mention in 2013.

Having a good bedside manner as a physical therapist is very important to a patient’s healing process.  Patients should feel comfortable, confident, and understand that their physical therapist cares about how they feel and the outcome of their physical therapy program. This promotes a healthy patient/therapist relationship.  Patients should leave the office after each visit confident they are in the right place to get the care they need.

Heather has been involved in the community as a professional and volunteered on the sidelines of several football games.  She has worked with athletic trainers and physicians to assist athletes in recovering from injury.  Specifically, she has volunteered on the sideline with Liberty University Football team for a year, Brookeville High School Football team for 2 years, and Liberty Christian Academy High School Football team for 5 years.

Heather looks forward to continuing to work with and meet the needs of the people in the Lynchburg community and surrounding areas.
