Dr. Wilson, a third generation surgeon, has practiced plastic surgery since 2004. and is the author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, several book chapters in prominent plastic surgery reference texts, and lectures throughout the United States and internationally on plastic surgical techniques. He is double board-certified in plastic surgery, as well as general surgery, and completed an additional year of fellowship in breast and cosmetic surgery at Georgetown under Dr. Scott Spear. He served as the president of the Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons from 2016 - 2017 is currently serving as the chairman of the Centra Medical Group Board. Dr. Wilson lives in Lynchburg, Virginia with his wife, Caroline, and their daughter.
