Katie is a Lynchburg local who graduated from Virginia Tech with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise in 2011. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Lynchburg College in 2015. She is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) with an advanced certification through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). She has a special interest and passion in oncology care and rehabilitation. Additionally she is LSVT certified, which is a specific research-based program designed and specialized for patients with Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonism-like diagnoses. She is passionate about providing the best possible care and experience for each patient on an individual basis.
Katie is married to another Lynchburg native and they have a wonderful son and a loyal dog. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and exercising.
