Former Residents

Jeffrey Shearin

Jeffrey is a native of North Carolina. He attended North Carolina State University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. After graduation, he worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing in the Research Triangle Park, NC. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Buies Creek, NC. Jeffrey is interested in pharmacokinetics, medication safety and interprofressional collaboration in improving patient outcomes. After residency, Jeffrey plans to obtain his BCPS and continue to practice as a clinical pharmacist. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking and surfing.

Kelly Curran

Kelly is originally from Rockland County, New York. She completed her undergraduate work at Binghampton University and received a bachelor's of science with majors in Biochemistry and Spanish. She attended St. John Fisher College Wemans School of Pharmacy in Rochester, NY where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2015. During her four years at pharmacy school, Kelly participated in three medical mission trips to El Salvador, Kenya and India. Her areas of interests include internal medicine, critical care and mission medicine. Upon completion of the residency program, she plans to practice as a clinical pharmacist in the hospital setting as well as becoming a preceptor for pharmacy students. Her interests including traveling, hiking, watching movies and playing with her dog.

Jordan Cooler

Jordan is a native of South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina for her pre-pharmacy coursework and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in May of 2016. Jordan is interested in psychiatry/mental health, internal medicine, and oncology. After residency, Jordan plans to pursue a PGY2 residency in one of her areas of interest. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, watching Gamecock football, and reading dystopian fiction.

Shehrin Chowdhury

Shehrin was born in Bangladesh and moved to Harare, Zimbabwe at a young age. She has lived in West Palm Beach, Florida since 2001. She had received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana in May 2016, where she also competed Pre-Pharmacy coursework. Shehrin’s areas of interest within pharmacy include infectious disease/antimicrobial stewardship and critical/intensive care and after her residency she plans to practice as a clinical pharmacist in a teaching hospital. As a clinical pharmacist she also plans to precept students and teach as an adjunct clinical faculty member at a pharmacy school. Her interests outside of pharmacy include traveling, reading books, exercising and watching movies.
