Conditions we treat
Blood pressure is the force that circulating blood exerts against the walls of the arteries. Hypertension is when blood pressure is too high and makes your heart work harder than it needs to. Hypertension is the most prevalent cardiovascular condition. It is a major risk factor for heart attacks and stroke. It is often called the “silent killer” as most people do not experience physical symptoms but there is underlying damage occurring to the body.
Our team of Hypertension Certified Cardiology Physician and PA, Interventional Cardiologists, Pharmacists and skilled nurses work together to provide comprehensive and high-quality care for our patients.
What is Resistant Hypertension?
Resistant hypertension is an elevated blood pressure ≥140/90 on 3 or more antihypertensive medications including a diuretic or controlled blood pressure of >4 medications.
