Amanda Bruffy

Amanda Bruffy, BSN, RN, CNRN, OCN

Director of Radiation Oncology and Oncology Nurse Navigation

Amanda began her career with Centra in 2004 as a HUC. She graduated from Lynchburg General Hospital School of Nursing in 2007 then received her bachelor’s degree from Kaplan University in 2013. She worked in Neurology at Lynchburg General Hospital until 2013, worked at Centra Hospice from 2013-2014, then started at the Centra Pearson Cancer Center in 2014 as the Lung Navigator. In 2018, Amanda was promoted to the Manager of Oncology Nurse Navigation and in 2021, also became the Manager of Clinical Operations for Radiation Oncology. Amanda received her Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) in 2009 and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) in 2017.

Amanda was diagnosed with Kidney cancer in 2015 and has been cancer-free for 7 years. She is surviving, thriving and loving life! You can read about her journey in Conquer: The Patient Voice. Amanda is from Evington but resides in Lynchburg with her adorable and sassy fur child, Maggie. Amanda enjoys quiet time on the beach, fishing, and loves an adventure to a new brewery or vineyard.

Stacy Bolt Goss

Stacy Bolt Goss, BSN, RN

Thoracic Oncology Navigator

Stacy is a registered nurse and has been with Centra Health since 2012. Stacy joined the Oncology Nurse Navigation Team in 2021 as a thoracic oncology navigator working with patients diagnosed with lung cancer. Prior to working in oncology, she was a clinic coordinator with Centra’s PACE program and worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department at Centra Southside Community Hospital. Stacy is a graduate of the inaugural nursing class from Longwood University. Throughout her career, she has received several awards for her patient-centered care and teamwork. 

Stacy resides in Appomattox, VA with her husband, two young sons and their dog named “Duck”. She enjoys vacationing at the beach, boating, shopping, and cooking for her family.

Cynthia Hunter

Cindy Hunter, BSN, RN, OCN

Head, Neck & Blood Cancer Navigator

Cindy joined the Centra Pearson Cancer Center in August of 2018 as an Oncology Nurse Navigator. Prior to coming to PCC, she worked in hospice, home health and a cardiac step-down unit.  For the past four years, she has dedicated her nursing career to caring for patients with head and neck, brain, and blood cancers. Cindy has been certified in oncology through the Oncology Nursing Society.

Cindy is a lifelong resident of the area. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two sons, a daughter and two dogs. She enjoys the outdoors, running, kayaking, live music, travel, good wine and spending time with family and friends.

Terri Lewis

Terri Lewis, BSN, RN, OCN

Breast and GYN Cancer Navigator

Terri joined the oncology nurse navigation team at Pearson Cancer Center in 2015. She has experience working in progressive coronary care, mother-baby unit, perinatal education, adult psychology, dialysis, and orthopedics. Terri graduated from University of Lynchburg with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her oncology nurse certification through Oncology Nursing Society. Terri resides in Rustburg with twin sister. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Lindsay Lacey

Lindsay Lacey, BSN, RN, OCN

Breast and GYN Cancer Navigator

Lindsay has been an Oncology Nurse Navigator since 2009. She enjoys her role working with breast and gynecological cancer patients. Lindsay graduated with her BSN from Liberty University in 2005, began working as an inpatient nurse on the oncology unit here at Centra. After 3.5 years in inpatient care, Lindsay then worked as a hospice nurse for one year before taking her current role as an Oncology Nurse Navigator. Lindsay grew up in Northern Virginia and has lived locally since she graduated college. Lindsay has been married to her husband since 2014, has three beautiful children and a dog and she enjoys family life while not at work.

Hannah Robinson

Hannah Robinson, BSN, RN, OCN

Gastrointestinal Cancer and Melanoma Navigator

Hannah is a registered nurse and is oncology certified (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Society. Hannah has been the nurse navigator for gastrointestinal cancers and melanoma at Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center since 2019. Hannah graduated from Lynchburg College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing where she was awarded the “Spirit of Nursing” award in 2015. 

Hannah resides in Evington with her husband, daughter and black lab and enjoys being outdoors, warm weather, time with friends and family and eating Mexican food.

Francina Brown

Francina Brown, RN 

Breast Cancer Navigator

Francina joined the Centra Pearson Cancer Center in September 2021 as an Oncology Infusion Nurse. Prior to coming to PCC, she worked in Dialysis, Orthopedic Trauma Unit and Med-Surg Unit. In 2018 she was promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager in Dialysis where she showcased exceptional leadership and management abilities while overseeing the operations of a twelve chair Dialysis clinic. She successfully initiated and established the clinic, playing a pivotal role in its start-up and opening. 

In 2023 she joined the Oncology Nurse Navigation team at the Alan B. Cancer Center. She is a passionate and dedicated nurse with a strong commitment to providing quality patient care and fostering meaningful interactions between patients, families and medical teams. 

Francina graduated from Lynchburg General School of Nursing and received her BSN from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Francina resides in Forest with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out and traveling.

Green, Amber

Amber Green, RN

Genitourinary and Gynecology Nurse Navigator

While in nursing school Amber was a HUC for OPD Infusion at VBH and also got her foot in the door at the Mother-Baby unit at VBH as a HUC and CNA. She attended Centra College of Nursing and graduated in December of 2018. From March of 2019 to July of 2021, she was an RN at Mother-Baby. The opportunity presented itself to become an Oncology Infusion Nurse at Pearson and she worked there from July of 2021 to February 2024. 

Amber is passionate about patient care and developing a great relationship with patients, their family, friends and caregivers. 

She lives in Lynchburg, VA with her wonderful husband of 4 years, and their 1-year-old son and fur babies Oliver and Benne. They love to indulge in Mexican food almost weekly and they spend their free time with their family and friends, listening to podcasts and music and watching football.
