Nutrition Services

Our approach to nutrition

Nutritional intervention is an essential component of care for oncology patients. A well-nourished body can aid in recuperation from surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and stress, as well as build new tissues while preventing tissue breakdown and weight loss. Centra’s clinical dietitians offer information to oncology patients regarding appropriate medical nutritional therapy which may include meal plans and recommendations on nutritional supplements.

This service is available for all Pearson Cancer Center patients at no charge.

To schedule an appointment with a registered dietitian, please call Oncology Administration at 434.200.4512, or fill out the form below.
