Jessica is a Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master’s Degree at Walden University. She says, "I love caring for the Lynchburg and surrounding areas because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes. I am a firm believer in Benjamin Franklin’s saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I thoroughly enjoy taking care of diabetics and helping them improve their diabetes. Diabetes is a challenging disease, but it is a manageable disease and that’s where my team comes in. We can help patients manage their diabetes and hopefully prevent risk complications." When she is not providing care she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out at Smith Mountain Lake, and anything outdoors.
