About Me

Dr. Haas is board certified in Internal Medicine- cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, he received additional training through an internship in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Vincent Hospital Indiana. He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because he knows this is where God has called him to serve. When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time with his wife and two young children in the yard and in nature.

Dr Haas was very attentive to my mother, speaking directly to her. We did not feel rushed at all during our appt, even tho Dr Haas took his time to listen and explain details during this time. Would very much recommend Dr Haas to others. We are fortunate to have been scheduled with him.

Dr. Haas was fantastic. He took the time to listen to me, and he took my concerns seriously. It was so refreshing to have a doctor focus solely on my issues and not act like I was taking up his valuable time or slowing up his schedule. I have considerable anxiety, and I've been to plenty of doctors who were willing to write my problems off to that. Dr. Haas told me that it was good that I had come in and that he would do a thorough workup. I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone needing a cardiologist.

This particular visit, I was seen by my doctor. He listened with an open mind, making suggestions and asking all the right questions. Very unusual and when I left, I felt confident that every concern had been addressed and all questions had been answered. My knowledge from the Dr was surprisingly reassuring. This doesn't happen as often as it should.
