About Us

Continuing its tradition of providing quality care since 1993, a goal of the center is to assist individuals to remain in their own homes, while providing support to family caregivers. The center offers person-centered planning to individuals with diverse needs, interests, and capabilities.

PACE

PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Living at home: your goal, our priority. PACE is designed to deliver all needed medical support for seniors ages 55+ that are eligible for nursing facility care.

Programs

The center’s programs include Adult Day Health Care, Day Support, and transportation, and is licensed by Department of Social Services and Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services. The center contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Medical Assistance Services, and select providers for reimbursement of daily fees.

Activities include therapeutic exercise, games, arts and crafts, music, peer interactions, and special entertainment.  Nursing staff assist individuals with personal care and routine health monitoring.

Location Information

Centra Bedford Adult Day Center is located adjacent to Bedford Memorial Hospital in a spacious facility with an impressive view of the Peaks of Otter Mountain, a water garden, and large patio.
